A: A local sanitation company called County Sanitation, Inc. provides collection service. Their telephone number is (727) 522-5794.

A: All single family residences, duplexes, triplexes, and quadplexes for which a certificate of occupancy has been issued. Click on the map to see if your residence is within the district.

Q: What won’t be picked up?
A: Just as in other cities, there are items that won’t be accepted for curbside collection. These items that do not fit the definitions of garbage, trash, or bulky waste are not included in the costs for trash collection. You will have to pay for their disposal. Those items include:
- Extraordinary Waste such as abandoned automobiles, boats, individual tree branches or stumps greater than four (4) feet in length and greater than 4 inches in diameter, and C&D Debris in excess of two (2) cubic yards.
- Household Electronic and Chemical Waste such as TVs, computers, cell phones, power supplies, laptops, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, rechargeable batteries, paints, cleaning supplies, fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals. They may be disposed of for free at the Pinellas County Swap Shop.
- Biological Waste such as dead animals or human medical waste.
- Explosives such as guns or ammunition.
