How do I apply for a current job opening with Pinellas County Government?
Applications are accepted online for positions that are currently open. You will need a computer and email address to complete the online application. See Current Job Openings for a list of openings including title, department and who is eligible to apply.

What if I don't have a computer?
If you do not have access to a computer, you may visit a local library to use a public computer or use a computer in the Human Resources Department located at 400 S. Ft. Harrison Avenue, Clearwater between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Please allow enough time to complete your application before the office closes at 5:00 p.m.

How do I claim Veterans' Preference?
Veterans' Preference will be given to eligible veterans and their spouses in accordance with Chapter 295 of the Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code Chapter 55-7A with respect to Veterans' Preference in appointment, retention and promotion.
To request Veterans' Preference, complete the Veterans' Preference Eligibility Form and email it with the required documentation to jobs@pinellascounty.org.
