Virtual Informational Open House
The Anclote River Watershed Management Plan (WMP) is a project funded by Pinellas County, the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the City of Tarpon Springs to provide an evaluation of the watershed, identify problems and recommend solutions affecting water quantity, water quality and natural resources.
This WMP virtual open house web page is available to help you understand the preliminary evaluation results for the existing storm event flooding conditions and other components of this project including:
- the collection of infrastructure and water quality data;
- the evaluation of existing storm event flooding conditions; and,
- the development of a management plan that provides recommendations for non-structural (e.g. education, ordinance creation/change, further studies) and structural (e.g. bank stabilization, stormwater enhancements) improvements.
