ORDER NO. 20-6 OF THE OFFICIAL AUTHORITY OF PINELLAS COUNTY TERMINATING THE RESTRICTION ON ALCOHOL SALES
WHEREAS, on March 17, 2020, I, as the designated Official Authority delegated authority to act by Resolution 20-16, required many restaurants and any other establishments licensed to sell alcohol for consumption on premises to cease serving alcohol each night by 10:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, in concert with Phase I of the State’s Safe. Smart. Step by Step. Plan for Florida’s Recovery, “the path to re-opening Florida must promote business operation and economic recovery while maintaining focus on core safety principles.”
NOW THEREFORE, I Barry Burton, as the Official Authority for Pinellas County designated by Resolution 20-16 declare as follows:
Effective concurrently with the effective date and time of the Governor’s EO 20-112, I hereby terminate my order of March 17, 2020 restricting the sale of alcohol in restaurants. All other currently effective orders of Pinellas County not specifically referenced herein remain in full force and effect.
