Crystal Beach Community Overlay

On November 22, 2016, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 16-55, establishing the Crystal Beach Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This Ordinance established two Comprehensive Plan objectives and nine policies that define the new district characteristics of Crystal Beach and further the community’s vision for the future. East Lake Tarpon Community Overlay

On April 24, 2012, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 12-13, establishing the East Lake Tarpon Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This Ordinance also established two Comprehensive Plan objectives and 10 policies that define the distinct characteristics of East Lake and further the community’s vision for the future. Ozona Community Overlay

On October 26, 2010, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 10-58, establishing the Ozona Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This ordinance also established a Comprehensive Plan objective and policy that define the distinct characteristics of Ozona that have been identified by the community and recognized by the Board of County Commissioners. Tierra Verde Community Overlay

On March 18, 2008, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 08-19, establishing the Tierra Verde Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This ordinance also established three Comprehensive Plan objectives and 10 policies that define the distinct characteristics of Tierra Verde and further the community’s vision for the future. Alderman Residential Rural Community Overlay

On December 12, 2006, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 06-89, establishing the Alderman Residential Rural Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This ordinance also established three Comprehensive Plan policies that support retention of the community’s rural character and large-lot land use designation, which restricts density to one dwelling unit per two acres.
