Placement Interviews and Orientation Scheduling
All long-term volunteer candidates must have a placement interview with a department representative prior to placement and assignment. If it is determined that the candidate is acceptable as a county volunteer, the site coordinator will
- create a record for the candidate in the Volunteer Services Program (VSP) database,
- complete a Placement & Commitment form, and
- arrange for an orientation – either online or in-person - for the candidate.
To serve you and our volunteers better, please call Volunteer Services for an appointment for fingerprinting and orientation at 464-3068. Appointments are available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays.
