Our
county volunteers assist in providing expanded
services to the public that, in many cases,
would not otherwise be available. Volunteers
span a variety of ages, come from diverse
ethnic backgrounds and have a multitude of
skill levels. But they all have one thing
in common—they care about their community.
Many
volunteers fill essential long-term, committed
positions with county departments as master
gardeners, history docents, nature guides,
animal assistants, youth leaders and more.
But our short-term volunteers are just as
important. If you have only a few hours to
offer, we welcome your help with any of our
one-time events.
Wherever
you volunteer, we appreciate your hard work
and dedication. Pinellas County is better
