The buoys are provided to identify the reef by name and provide a visual reference to help locate material.
These buoys are not mooring buoys. Tying a boat to a buoy can damage it in a number of ways. Please help us maintain the buoy system by not tying your boat to them, and by reporting any damaged or missing buoys.
