Water main break discovered in Clearwater

March 14, 2011

An 8-inch potable water main ruptured on the west side of US 19, south of Allen’s Creek, near 17956 US 19 N. in Clearwater. Utilities crews are on site and working to isolate the damaged section of pipe. Contractors working in the area discovered a water leak earlier this morning.

At this time, only a limited disruption of service is expected. Traffic flow on US 19 is not being affected.
