Pinellas County, Fla – In accordance with Pinellas County Code 82-3, the seasonal three days a week, mandatory reclaimed water restrictions for Pinellas County Utilities customers ended effective June 30, 2009. The County will continue to monitor reclaimed water storage levels, customer usage and rainfall amounts to determine if mandatory restrictions or additional zone control measures should be implemented to manage supplies. The next regularly scheduled seasonal restrictions will be October 1 to November 30.

Customers are encouraged to utilize reclaimed water in an efficient manner so that they can maintain a healthy lawn. For information on how to irrigate efficiently, please contact Pinellas County Utilities at 464-4000 and tell the representative “I want a healthy lawn.” A packet of useful tips and suggestions will be sent to you.
