Seminole, Fla—A water main break has resulted in north and southbound lane closures of Seminole Boulevard from Park Boulevard to Johnson Boulevard (7600 block) in Seminole. The road will need to be closed until further notice due to deteriorating roadway surface caused by a leaking six inch potable water main. Pinellas County Utilities’ General Maintenance Department crews are onsite and accessing the situation. Traffic control is in place along with safety crews, and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has been notified.

Northbound traffic is being diverted onto Park Boulevard however motorists are advised to avoid this stretch of roadway until at least midnight. Both lanes will remain closed until the repairs are completed.
