Largo, Fla— The rupture of a 12-inch force main at 12294 Indian Rocks Rd. and also at the intersection of 122nd Avenue North and 144th Lane last night (May 16, 2007) resulted in a wastewater spill affecting parts of the roadway in the surrounding areas. Utilities crews have contained both spills and the line was repaired and returned to normal service by 6 a.m. this morning (May 17, 2007).

Traffic patterns have been returned to normal as of 2 p.m. today. Water Quality is currently taking samples to determine the impact on area retention ponds or waterways.
