Garbage Collection in Lealman
Mobile Home Park Exemption

A Commercial Mobile Home Park (CMHP) is a park divided into ten (10) or more spaces in which the spaces are not individually owned.

CMHPs in the Lealman District wishing to be exempted from the municipal service benefit unit for garbage and trash collection and disposal service must meet the following conditions:

1. The commercial mobile home park is serviced using commercial containers, such as dumpsters, rather than receiving curbside collection of waste;
2. The owner, manager, or association representing the commercial mobile home park provides a copy of a current contract for waste collection;
3. Such contract includes at least weekly collection of waste; and
4. The container size and frequency of service are deemed adequate, as determined by a County representative, to service the number of units located within the park.

To apply for an MSBU exemption for a commercial mobile home park meeting these conditions, complete an Exemption Form, attach a copy of the current solid waste collection contract for the park, and return these items to the following address:
