The following items should not be put in the trash.
Please take to HEC3, mobile collection or EnviroBusiness Day.

- Microwave ovens
- Pagers
- PDAs
- Printers
- Projector
- Radios
- Scanners
- Speakers
- Stereos
- Telephones
- Televisions
- Toner cartridges
- Typewriters (electric)
- VCRs
- Video game players
- Wireless devices

*Not all electronics are hazardous. See our list of electronics (such as blow dryers) that are NOT hazardous.

- Cleansers
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Furniture polish
- Household batteries
- Mercury thermometers
- Mercury thermostats
- Moth balls
- Nail polish or remover
- Paint (latex or oil)
- Paint removers & thinners
- Shoe polish
- Solvents
- Turpentine
- Wood preservatives

Outdoor chemicals:
- Automotive fluids such as antifreeze or brake fluid
- Fertilizers
- Flares
- Fungicides
- Gasoline
- Herbicides
- Insecticides
- Kerosene
- Lighter fluid
- Pesticides
- Pool or spa chemicals
- Weed killers

*EMPTY chemical containers can go in the trash.

Businesses may dispose of hazardous process waste (residues from the manufacturing process) at HEC3 or an EnviroBusiness Day. A waste composition analysis may be required. Call 464-7500 for more information.
