The Keller Water Treatment Facility is responsible for the treatment and distribution of approximately 55-60 million gallons per day (MGD) of potable (drinking) water for more than 900,000 residents and visitors of Pinellas County. The water service area stretches from the north at Tarpon Springs to the south at Fort De Soto Park. The facility includes 40 million gallons of water storage with pumps capable of moving over 80 million gallons of water a day. Wholesale water service is supplied to the cities of Clearwater, Pinellas Park, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor and Tarpon Springs.

Keller employees are responsible for the operation, treatment and pumping of the drinking water supply. Professionally licensed water treatment plant operators staff the facility 24 hours a day over three shifts. Electrical and mechanical technicians keep the equipment operating and in good repair.
The water treatment facility staff also provides maintenance and repair support for the Cross Bar and Al Bar Ranch well fields; the North, Logan, Capri Isle and Gulf Beach Booster Stations; the Oakhurst standpipe and the Fort De Soto elevated storage tank.
