Hazardous Waste Options
Click here for a listing of hazardous wastes that should not be thrown in the trash. Businesses have two inexpensive and convenient options for safe disposal of hazardous waste items such as toner cartridges, fluorescent light bulbs, computers, and cleaners:

1. EnviroBusiness Days - Businesses can take electronics and chemical hazardous waste to the monthly EnviroBusiness Day events held at the Household Electronics & Chemical Collection Center (HEC3). See table below for time and dates. Click on the EnviroBusiness brochure above for more details.

2. Mobile Collection - Businesses can also bring hazardous waste to a mobile collection event. Please contact the contractors directly prior to the event to arrange for handling and payment. For chemical waste, call EQ Florida, Inc. at (813) 623-5302. For electronic waste, call Creative Recycling at (813) 621-2319.
