Businesses have two inexpensive and convenient options for safe disposal of hazardous waste items such as toner cartridges, fluorescent light bulbs, computers and cleaners:

1. EnviroBusiness Days - Businesses can take electronics or chemical hazardous waste to the monthly EnviroBusiness Day events held at the Household Electronics & Chemical Collection Center (HEC3). Events are held on the second Wednesday (see dates below). View the brochure above for more details.

2012 EnviroBusiness Days 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 2nd Wednesday of each month Jan. 11 Feb. 8 Mar. 14 Apr. 11 May 9 June 13 July 11 Aug. 8 Sep. 12 Oct. 10 Nov. 14 Dec. 12

2. Mobile Collections - Businesses can also bring hazardous waste to a mobile collection event. Please contact the contractors directly prior to the event to arrange for handling and payment. For chemical waste, call EQ Florida at (813) 319-3400. For electronic waste, call Creative Recycling at (813) 621-2319.
