Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Transportation Survey

The Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is conducting an update of the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) to the year 2035. The most recent LRTP update was adopted in December of 2004 and had a horizon year of 2025. This 2035 LRTP update is anticipated to be approved by the MPO in October 2009. The LRTP is the focal point of the MPO’s planning and programming activities and represents the 20-year vision for Pinellas County’s transportation system. The LRTP considers all principal modes of transportation as an integrated system including highways, public transportation, bikeways and pedestrian facilities. During the update of the LRTP, the Pinellas County MPO will use the LRTP Web page www.pinellascounty.org/mpo/lrtp.htm to provide information on the schedule, process, events and work products.

The Transportation Survey has been developed to involve you in prioritizing transportation-related improvements in Pinellas County Area. The survey will take about three minutes.
