Summer Camps 2009
Presented by Heinrich Ecologial Services
at Brooker Creek and Weedon Island Preserves
Noted herpetologist Mr. George Heinrich will offer his ever-popular summer camps this year at Brooker Creek and Weedon Island Preserve.
On your mark, get set and register starting in April for summer camps at Brooker Creek Preserve in Tarpon Springs and Weedon Island Preserve in St. Petersburg.
Two one-week summer camps offered by Heinrich Ecologial Services at both Brooker Creek Preserve and Weedon Island Preserve will delight younger nature-loving children. A new summer camp, Wildlife Ecology Camp, explores the Preserve’s diverse habitats and ways to conserve them. Campers will prowl the Preserve to practice their nature detective skills. The other camp is the wildly popular, Herpetology Camp. Through up-close encounters, campers learn about a variety of animals such as gopher tortoises, frogs, lizards and snakes.
