Brooker Creek Preserve:
- Brooker Creek Preserve Summer Camps
Toad-ally Terrific Field Camp sponsored by the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve
In this hands-on field camp children ages 9-11 will be lead by certified elementary classroom teachers with field experience to a different habitat at Brooker Creek Preserve each day. We will go off the hiking trail into a pine flatwoods, a sandhill, the creek and a swamp. In the field, we will investigate and compare the characteristics of each habitat (soil type, plants and animals, temperature, amount of sun/shade) to discover what makes each habitat unique and important, and to discover how we are connected to it all.
July 11-15 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $150 per week
