Pinellas County Strategic Plan

The Board of County Commissioners recently adopted a new five-year Strategic Plan that will help guide the County’s operations, services and initiatives through 2030. Check out the updated plan below.

The Strategic Plan, which is informed by input from the public, the Board of County Commissioners, department leaders, available data, and other County plans and policies, drives the budget.

Likewise, the budget process moderates the Strategic Plan by prioritizing resources to support service delivery. The budget is the annual implementation of Pinellas County’s Strategic Plan and the associated Board of County Commissioner priorities.

The resources made available through the budget enable continuous improvement toward the key results desired by the Board of County Commissioners and the public at large (as shown in the graphic below).

Process Development Illustration consists of the following actions: Informs; Drives; Moderates; Enables.

The current plan consists of four key results that Pinellas County’s programs and projects strive to support.
