Sponsorship
Description: The Pinellas County Water Resources Management Section holds an annual Lakes & Ponds Education Day event. This event is for citizens interested in the health and management of our water resources, specifically stormwater ponds. Based on prior years, attendance is anticipated at 150-200 citizens. This years’ event will be held at the Brooker Creek Preserve Education Center on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 10:00a.m to 2:00p.m.
Sponsorship can include monetary funds to support expenses related to the event including signage, printing, educational materials, refreshments, t-shirts, native plants for attendees, and items for the raffle. Three levels of sponsorship are available:
Silver Sponsor - Cash contribution of $500 or more. Sponsor may provide in-kind contributions as well. Sponsors may be incorporated into educational programming for 10-15 minute presentation on a "water quality topic" that may include information regarding products and/or services offered by the sponsor. Sponsor may set up table to display and distribute promotional materials at the event. Sponsor will receive company logo acknowledgement.
Table Sponsor - Cash contribution of $100 or more. Sponsor may provide in-kind contributions as well. Sponsor may set up table to display and distribute promotional materials at the event. Sponsor will receive company logo acknowledgement.
Contributing Sponsor - Cash or in-kind contribution valued at less than $100. Sponsor will receive company logo acknowledgement.
Company logo acknowledgement includes invitation flyers to the general public via posting in local newspapers (pending marketing agreement), posting on County and partner web pages, posting at several County offices, and a thank-you poster at the event. All sponsors will also be recognized during welcoming and closing addresses.
