Corporate Sponsorship Program - Current Opportunities

Sponsorship Description: As a member of the American Water Works Association, Pinellas County Utilities (PCU) each year promotes Drinking Water Week with a t-shirt (grade categories K-1, 2-3 and 4-5) and bumper sticker design contest (grade category 9-12). The contest is open to all students in Pinellas County. Winners will receive plaques or trophies on stage at Largo Central Park on May 5, 2007, as part of the "Battle of the Badges" chili and ribs cook-off (see www.chiliandribs.com for event details).

PCU is seeking sponsors to provide gift certificates to be awarded to contest winners and teachers. Sponsors will be recognized at the award ceremony and in press releases announcing the winners. The minimum total value of gift certificates being sought is $280 ($20 certificate for each of four category winners; $10 certificate for two runners-up in each of the four categories; $10 certificate for the teacher of each of the above). Additional value will be used to provide higher and/or expanded awards.
