Corporate Sponsorship Program - Current Opportunities

Sponsorship Description: Mobile Home Expo 2007 is scheduled for February 17, 2007 at the Largo Cultural Center from 9am - 2pm. It is an event for the estimated 40,000 mobile and manufactured home residents of Pinellas County to find out about resources available to enhance their quality of life as residents of a mobile home community. An estimated 2,000 residents will attend.

The first Mobile Home Expo was held on a weekday in May, 2006 and served over 700 residents from throughout the entire county. Based on feedback from residents and vendors, the event has been moved to a weekend during the time of year when part-time residents are likely to be residing in Pinellas County.

The marketing plan for the event includes flyers delivered to all local mobile home parks, publicity to local media, and promotion on the County government television station, Pinellas 18. It is also anticipated that participating municipalities will assist in marketing the event to their constituents.

Sponsors will be recognized in press releases, marketing collateral pieces to include event flyers, signage, and advertisements. Media coverage for this year's event is expected to increase based on last year's success.

The County is seeking sponsors to contribute to the production of the event by providing media coverage and refreshments. Media sponsors would be expected to assist with marketing of the event. Refreshment sponsors would be expected to supply cookies, pastries, coffee, soft drinks, and water. Substitutions will be considered. The refreshments will be distributed for free to event attendees.

Sponsors will be provided booth space at the event, at which they will be able to display their products and services and allow residents to sample products. Sponsorship opportunities may be customized.
