The
Pinellas County sponsorship program
shall enable the corporate community
to develop new, creative and mutually
beneficial partnerships with Pinellas
County.
These partnerships will
help the County optimize non-tax revenue
sources via reduction of budgeted expenses
and/or development of new revenues. The
net effect will be a reduction in pressure
on property taxes. Partnerships may also
yield enhanced programs and services.
Depending
upon the nature of the partnership,
the corporate partner may benefit in
many different ways, including enhanced
marketing of their products and/or
services and development and promotion
of their business relationship with
the County.
All
sponsorship
opportunities will be advertised
on this web site. The process
by which the County advertises, solicits
and ultimately
enters into corporate sponsorship agreements
is outlined in the Pinellas
County Sponsorship Policy.
Ultimately,
the goal of the sponsorship program
is to help the County continue to achieve
its overall goals that include enhancing
the quality of life and the environment,
supporting a vital economy, safeguarding
the County’s assets and interests,
and providing programs and services
to meet community needs.
