Pinellas County Solid Waste provides free online videos and songs to Pinellas County teachers to supplement their educational curriculum.

No Such Place as "Away" (13 min.) History of Trash (1 min.) Find out where your trash goes when you throw it "away" with this entertaining tour of the Pinellas County Solid Waste Operations facility. The video follows garbage from the trash can to the Waste-to-Energy facility and landfill. The short History of Trash segment provides a humorous history of waste management. Conservation Sing-along Enjoy this collection of 12 entertaining songs about conservation. The CD features familiar songs (such as “There’s a Hole in My Bucket”) with original lyrics written by Pinellas County Solid Waste staff about recycling, reducing waste, and saving water. You can sing along by downloading the song sheet.
