This useful information will help gardeners dig right into improving landscape design and maintenance. In this third in a series, experienced landscape designers will show you how to get started designing a landscape that is friendly to Florida’s environment as well as aesthetically pleasing. You will receive materials and instructions you need to get started with designing your special garden. It is focused on reducing non-point source pollution resulting from fertilization or pesticide application. BMP certification will be awarded to those passing the exam. This class is offered at no cost to, Pinellas County Employees, Pinellas County School Board Employees, and Pinellas County Master Gardener Volunteers. A green child care facility is environmentally friendly. It is energy efficient, practices recycling, provides healthy snacks and uses environmentally preferable products to optimize indoor air quality. It also involves the children in the greening of their schools, giving them the tools and knowledge they need to lead sustainable lives and promote green practices in their communities.
