Pinellas Folk Festival
Location: Heritage Village
Details: Pinellas Folk Festival takes place on Saturday Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dozens of the Tampa Bay area's premier folk musicians will spread the sounds of traditional folk, gospel, country and bluegrass music on stages throughout the village. As the music plays, guests can take part in old-time games, traditional craft demonstrations, a traditional fiber arts show and “Fleece-to-Shawl” activities. Antique cars will also be available. The event will also have a food court. A $5 donation is suggested for adults and children older than 12. Admission is free for children younger than 12.
Free parking and shuttle to the entrance of the Folk Festival will be available on 119th St. between Ulmerton and Walsingham roads. Handicapped parking and drop-off will be located at the former Gulf Coast Museum of Art at 12211 Walsingham Road in Largo.
