Pinellas County has established procedures for the selection of professional services for architecture, professional engineering, landscape architecture, or registered surveying and mapping to ensure the County's compliance with Florida Statute 287.055, The Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA).

Pinellas County CCNA Process:        CCNA SECTION 10 PURCHASING PROCEDURE

Supplier Information for CCNA Process:   The Pinellas County Purchasing Department does not pre-qualify firms for CCNA solicitations.  Firms must submit qualifications for each new CCNA solicitation for which they are interested in providing services.

Supplier E-Mail Notification Process: Firms or individuals desiring to be notified when a CCNA solicitation is issued must  submit a request via email to ssteele@pinellascounty.org to have their firm entered into the CCNA supplier email notification database.

SUGGESTION:   In the email request, include a generic email such as ccnaops@abc.com or consult@xyz.com, rather than a single person’s email if at all possible.  This will ensure that your company receives the information if the contact person is unavailable to receive the email. Each time a CCNA solicitation is  issued Purchasing will notify, via email, all companies who have  submitted a request for notification. 

PLEASE NOTE:  The County makes every effort to keep suppliers informed about CCNA solicitations.  However, it is the supplier’s sole responsibility to utilize the most current information available.   Check this site often to keep informed of new CCNA opportunities and to ensure you are aware of any addenda or other documents relevant to the competitive CCNA process.
