Project Overview

Pinellas County Public Works, through the county's Capital Improvement Program, has completed sidewalk improvements on Indian Rocks Road to provide safer pedestrian and bicycle facilities. The project was to improve the roadway shoulder and sidewalk of the roadway from Wilcox Road to Church Creek in Largo.

 

This project enhances multi-modal transportation within Pinellas County; paved shoulders will accommodate bicyclists, the sidewalk provides a facility for pedestrians and an updated bus landing will be used by bus passengers.

 

Project Schedule

• Construction Start: February 2019
• Construction End: November 2019

 

This project is funded through the Penny for Pinellas program, the county's local infrastructure sales tax.
