Project Overview
Pinellas County Public Works is making improvements to the intersection of 62nd Avenue N. and 25th Street N. in St. Petersburg. The project consists of the widening 62nd Avenue N. for dedicated left turn lanes and future bike lanes, adding traffic signal mast arms, reconstructing existing sidewalks, and the milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway. Improvements also include the design of an ADA-compliant sidewalk and curb ramps along the east side 25th Street N., from 62nd Avenue N. to the Sawgrass Lake Park entrance. The completion of the project will enhance pedestrian, bicyclist and motorist safety.
A Neighborhood Project Information Meeting was held in November 2017 to provide citizens with project details, garner input and answer questions.
