The Pinellas County Survey and Mapping Division provides land surveying and mapping services to facilitate the design and construction of capital improvement projects. In addition to boundary, construction, control, and global positioning, topographic and right-of-way surveys, the division also provides subsurface utility, as-built and quantity survey reports.

Responsibilities also include deed analysis, legal description preparation, plat reviews as well as the management of the acquisition of aerial photography for all county users. The qualified professionals who make up the survey and mapping division continue to gain experience and knowledge in order to stay abreast of the latest technological advances.
