What
is the Evaluation and Appraisal Process?
Pinellas
County is currently in the process of updating its
Comprehensive Plan. This process is called the Evaluation
and Appraisal of the Comprehensive Plan (see
FAQs). Citizen input into this process
is critical, as the plans we make today will affect
the future of your community and the County as a whole.
You can contact us at 464-8200, or email
us with any questions or ideas. We look
forward to your ideas!

County staff conducted several planning workshops
around the County in the spring of 2004, met
with surrounding municipalities and different
agencies, met with the County’s Youth Advisory
Board, and put together an Environmental
Workgroup – all to try and identify the most important
issues and ideas that needed to be addressed
in the update to the Comprehensive Plan. Click

that are planned to be addressed in the evaluation
and update of the Comprehensive Plan.
