Sutherland Bayou Bait Shack is operated by MSKSFK, Inc., a contracted concessionaire for Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources.  The bait shack is open daily one hour before dawn and closes at dusk.  This location sells live and frozen bait, tackle, ice, food and beverages.  For more information on the bait shop please call (727) 216-6979.

 

This 5-acre boating facility offers direct access to St. Joseph Sound and the Gulf of Mexico.  Acquired by Pinellas County in September 2006; this facility is open 24 hours a day and features a single boat launching ramp, 50 vehicle and trailer parking spaces, 20 vehicle parking spaces, a designated boat and motor rinse area, and restroom facilities.

Vehicle with boat trailer           $6 daily
Vehicle parking without trailer   $2 daily

 

Annual parking permits for Pinellas County beach parks (Fort De Soto, Sand Key and Fred Howard) and county boat ramps are available for sale at this site during bait shop business hours.  See link below for more information on annual permit costs and where permits may be purchased.

History:
