Hours of Operation:

 

Parks & Conservation Resources - Administration

• Open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  Office closed weekends and all county holidays.

 

County Parks

 

• Open 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to dusk
  County Parks are closed two days throughout the year, the day after Thanksgiving and Dec. 25. (exception is Fort De Soto Park which is open all year)
  

 

Brooker Creek Preserve

 

• Preserve and Wildland Hiking Trail Hours:
  

  Open 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to time posted, approximately one hour before sunset. Daily closing time is posted at the entrance to the Preserve and at the hiking trailheads. Closed day after Thanksgiving and December 25.
  
  Educational Center Hours:
  Open Thursday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  Closed Sunday to Wednesday and all county holidays.
  

 

Weedon Island Preserve

 

• Preserve and Hiking/Paddling/Interpretive Trail Hours:
  Open 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to time posted, approximately 15 minutes before sunset. Daily closing time is posted at the entrance to the Preserve and at the hiking trailheads.
  
  Educational Center Hours:
  Open Thursday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  Closed Sunday to Wednesday and all county holidays.

 

Heritage Village:

 

• Open 5 days a week,
  Wednesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
  Closed Mondays, Tuesdays and all county holidays.

 

Florida Botanical Gardens:
