The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners and the Sheriff’s Office is in the process of having the Sheriff’s Office over see the registration and residency requirement of all sex predators and offenders in the county. This will provide a central data center for the law enforcement agencies to check on the offenders in their jurisdictions. The Florida Dept. of Corrections will also have a Probation Officer at the S.P.O.T. center along with a full time analyst.
