Jasmine is a High School Senior at Indian Rocks
Christian School. She is a straight "A"
student enrolled in Honors and Duo Credit courses
and holds awards in Drama, Chemistry, Biology
and Spanish. She is a black belt martial artist
and kick-boxer. Jasmine is also a professionally
trained model Jasmine loves to fish, swim, do
crafts and, of course, cook! Her favorite in-kitchen
recipe is for coconut macaroons, a 100 year-old
recipe her Granny and Great Grandmother used
to made in Newfoundland, Canada. Her favorite
grill recipe is fresh-caught grouper basted
in garlic-kissed lemon juice! Bon Appetite!

Joshua is a High School Senior at Indian Rocks
Christian School. He has been cooking since
he was old enough to lick the mixing bowl. He
has been thoroughly enjoying every cookie for
the last seventeen years of his life and looks
forward to what may be baking in the future... |

Griner – Gourmet Host |

Alison is 17 years young and attends the International
Baccalaureate (I.B.) program at St. Pete High
School. She enjoys reading, cooking, murder
books, playing volleyball, and being an advocate
for Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT).
Her favorite dishes to bake are desserts. She
likes to bake key lime pie and to cook pasta
with fresh herbs. |

Lindsey is in 6th grade at Veritas Preparatory
Academy. She is very involved in the Hearts
and Hooves 4-H Club, which is all about horses.
When not riding or doing schoolwork, she enjoys
tumbling and cooking. Her favorite things to
cook are, of course, desserts! She loves to
make cheesecake, Texas sheet cake, chocolate
chip cookies, buttermilk oatmeal pancakes, and
strawberry-banana smoothies. She is always up
for trying new recipes she finds from magazines
or online food sites. |

Mauldin |

Amelia is 15 years old and a sophomore at Clearwater
High School. She loves singing and enjoyed being
a part of this series of shows. She loves listening
to music and has been taking drama class at
school for the last 2 years. Over the summer
she toke guitar lessons and hopes to rock it
like the best of them. She likes to travel as
well. Having been to Cali and England for example,
she hopes to visit those places and others again.
Amelia likes joking around with her friends
and family. She really enjoys writing her own
lyrics.She hopes to improve her acting and music
skills.

Jordan is 13 years old. He goes to Largo Middle
School and is in 8th grade. His hobbies include
cooking, riding bikes and playing computer games.
He also likes to learn new recipes and share
recipes from his Philippine and Arabic heritage.

Britt Ammon, 14, is a 9th grade honor student
at Countryside High School where she is a cheerleader
(Go Cougars!). She is an avid horsewoman and
is also an actress/singer having appeared in
dinner theatre and in numerous community theatre
productions throughout the Tampa Bay area. |

Caitin
is 11 years old and goes to Dunedin Highland
Middle School. She loves to sing, act in her
dad's drama workshops and cook with her mom.
She thinks its cool that there's a show like
this that shows that kids can cook too!

John Lewis |
|
Chef John is the creator and General
Manager of La Maison Gourmet, having developed
the original concept for the predecessor company,
Home Chefs, in January 1998. He has cooked
for more than 35 years and professionally
for eight. He is self-taught, benefiting from
associations with other professional chefs.
He
currently teaches almost half the courses
at La Maison Gourmet as well as most of the
private parties and Personal Chef Services.
Chef John appears on WFLA’s (News Channel
8, NBC) popular Daytime Show as the
resident chef. His specialties on television
are: Heart Healthy Dishes and Easy-to-Prepare
Gourmet Dishes.

Sharon
has been teaching for 29 years. She has a master's
degree in elementary education and was selected
as the Teacher of the Year for her school, Chiles
Elementary (2005-2006, Teacher of the Gifted),
last school Temple Terrace Elementary (1999-2000
) and at Tampa Palms Elementary (1996-1997).
Sharon is the State Agriculture Teacher of the
Year 2005 and the Florida Outstanding Elementary
Science Teacher of the Year for 2003.

Karen is an educational instructor with the
Family and Consumer Sciences Program. She
is responsible for developing and coordinating
health and nutrition classes for the 4-H Afterschool
and Steps to a Healthier Pinellas programs.
She also conducts cooking demonstrations and
classes for a variety of groups throughout
the county including youth and those with
special dietary needs.
Karen
has a diverse skill set that encompasses extensive
experience and education in culinary arts,
nutrition, emergency medicine and business
management. She is currently studying social
work and sociology.
Karen
is an active volunteer in the community and
her passions are cooking and travel. She is
a native of Cleveland, Ohio but settled in
Pinellas County after residing in Colorado
and Arizona.
