We offer innovative approaches to employment readiness training, job placement and job retention. Our STARS Program (Success Training and Retention Services) is a free program that has worked successfully in Pinellas County since 1999.
The STARS Program offers a free, unique approach to employment readiness training, job placement and job retention. It is a licensed affiliate of the international STRIVE Network that has 25 years of proven training methods, high job placement and high job retention rates.
The training consists of a 20-day, reality-based workshop that focuses on:
Teaching the necessary skills to obtain employment and build careers
Developing personal skills to succeed in the workplace
Self-empowerment
Self-improvement
Higher self-esteem and confidence
Greater opportunities for advancement
Upon successful completion of our workshop, graduates receive:
Certificate of Completion / Achievement
Job placement assistance (hands-on); or assistance with educational / training enrollment
Two years of on-going professional support and career guidance
Access to lifetime services
On-going "life skill" workshops
Recognition of on-going achievement through the "STARS Showcase"
