County Offices Will Close July 3
Pinellas County government offices will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. An exception will be Animal Services. The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit will not be in session on Friday, July 3, except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

Pinellas County Health & Human Services sponsors the Summer Food Service Program.
This is a federally funded program operated nationwide by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered statewide by the Florida Department of Education. This program provides meals free at approved sites in low-income areas to all children 18 years of age and younger, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability.
Dates for the 2009 program are June 9th through August 11th.

Free Prescription Drug Discount Cards Now Available
Pinellas County is making free prescription drug discount cards available under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) that offers average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs.
The prescription cards are being distributed to many locations throughout Pinellas County, including those listed here . Availability may vary.
