Set Solid Goals to Help Planning and Response Efforts . . .
To improve coordination between health and human service providers throughout Pinellas County, the Health and Human Services Coordinating Council was established and became fully operational in May 2007. The Council consists of three main entities 1) the Policy Board comprised of local policy makers, 2) the Administrative Forum comprised of chief administrators of local planning and funding entities, and 3) the Public Management Networks comprised of operational managers of local health and human service provider agencies.
The Council provides a way to bridge the gap that traditionally exists between these three groups thus enabling community groups and governments to coordinate their efforts to better serve the people who live and work in our community.
Visit the site for the Health and Human Services Coordinating Council for more information about how these growing collaborations enhance the lives and well-being of those in our community.
