Pinellas County employees are fortunate to have Wellness Champions at our worksites spreading wellness cheer.

What is a Wellness Champion?

A Wellness Champion is an employee who volunteers their time to promote health and wellness to their fellow coworkers. Our goal is to have a champion for every Pinellas County department.

What is the goal of the program?

Provide awareness to all employees of wellness programs to help maintain a healthy lifestyle during work time and at home.

What does a Wellness Champion do?

Supports and promotes a healthy worksite environment and activities
Participates in periodic meetings and conference calls
Distributes wellness communications to coworkers

Coordinates wellness activities and events at their worksite
Tracks and shares results of wellness activities and successes
Suggests potential activities based on feedback from coworkers
