Students ages 12 through 17

Junior Docents at Heritage Village are young adults from the community who enjoy learning more about Pinellas County and Florida history. Young volunteers donate their time:

• Researching and presenting guided tours at Heritage Village
• Participating in special events and festivals
• Assisting with the development of living history activities
• Providing an incredible community role model to children and young adults
• Hours credited towards the Bright Futures College Scholarships program

Heritage Village is looking for volunteers that love to greet people for our visitor center, sharing with them the tour times and Living History activities available for the day. Other duties include answering phone calls from guests and directing calls to appropriate staff. Receptionists also help with office tasks such as mailings and data tracking.
