Heritage Village relies on donations to fulfill our mission of collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Pinellas County within the context of Florida history. From historical artifacts for the museum collection, book donations to the Archives & Library, or monetary donations to fund restoration work, these donations ensure the longevity of Heritage Village for our visitors.

The Turner bungalow was moved from 801 S. Fort Harrison in downtown Clearwater to Heritage Village in January 2014. Once the home of Alfred and Amber Turner, the 1915 bungalow stayed in the Turner family throughout its history. Heritage Village seeks donations to resore and preserve the Turner family home in hopes of providing visitors an opportunity to explore this important piece of Clearwater history and Florida vernacular architecture.

Green Benches dot the landscape at Heritage Village. Designed in the spirit of the popular benches in downtown St. Petersburg, the green benches provide visitors a place to rest and appreciate the nature surrounding the historical setting. The green benches also provide comfortable and sufficient seating for performances during special events.
Your $500 contribution supports ongoing restoration and interpretation of the historic structures at Heritage Village. Each green bench contains a personalized plaque. In addition, Green Bench Supporters are acknowledged on a prominately displayed donor recognition sign at Heritage Village.

The Heritage Village Archives & Library is a comprehensive collection of materials about Pinellas County history. The Pinellas County Historical Society developed a program to expand the current 3500-volume library that helps visitors and researchers discover history. Your $50 contribution purchases a book for the Archives & Library. Recognition of your gift will appear on a nameplate inside the book and will be noted in a leather-bound book displayed in the Archives & Library.
