• Affordable housing is Energy Star certified (Community Development).
• Mandates removal of invasive species when proposals are made for existing buildings to upgrade/change their property (Development Review Services).
• Received a Brownfield redevelopment grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to clean up polluted and hazardous property in the Cross Bayou and Lealman districts.
• Guide to the Pinellas County Trail – The Trail is a unique greenway corridor linking some of Pinellas County’s most picturesque parks, scenic coastal areas and residential neighborhoods. Each month, an average of 90,000 people enjoy bicycle riding, strolling or jogging on the trail.
