The Florida Botanical Gardens have happily hosted many weddings since our opening in 2000. Our Wedding Garden provides the perfect setting for such an important day. Within the Wedding Garden there are gently babbling fountains, a romantic topiary garden and a rose garden, in bloom year-round. All these elements come together to create a breathtaking setting for you and your guests to enjoy.

The fee for rental of the Wedding Garden is $1,500 with a 50% up-front booking deposit of $750.00. There is a 25% discount for Wedding Garden rentals on weekdays (Monday through Thursday only). The Wedding Garden is available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 1p.m. or 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and accommodates up to 200 people.

Food service or alcohol are not permitted during the wedding ceremony. Receptions or outdoor parties are not permitted.

 Wedding Rehearsal:

• A one hour rehearsal is included in your usage fee
• Rehearsal times are subject to the weekend event schedule
• Staff members are not present during rehearsals

 

Ceremony Information:

• The Wedding Garden is available from 10 a.m. - 1p.m. or 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
• Ceremonies are booked in 3 hour blocks of time, depending upon availability, for set-up of chairs by the rental company, use of bridal room, decorating, ceremony and photography.
• Bookings should be made a minimum of 2 months prior to desired event
• We recommend renting an audio system for your ceremony
• A booking deposit of 50% of total usage fee and a completed wedding application are required to reserve your date. Final payment of usage fee balance and security/damage deposit is due four weeks prior to your scheduled event
• Due to garden maintenance schedule and the holiday event schedule, weddings are not booked in July, August, September and November 15 through January 15.
• Cancellations are subject to a penalty
• Processional runners must be removed immediately after the ceremony to protect the turf
• Rose petals can be used in the processional aisle only

Additional Information:

• All gardens are decorated for the Holiday Season beginning November 1st
• Prices are subject to change
• Unity and/or citronella candles are allowed provided they are contained
• Bubbles are recommended to celebrate your special occasion
• Flowers in Bloom can be found at the FBG web site
  
• Enjoy taking your wedding photographs throughout our garden
• Remember that we are a public garden open 7 days a week
  from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Decorating the gazebo is permitted during your reserved time
• You must rent tables/audio system for ceremony music from outside sources. No chairs provided.

The following Are Not Permitted in the Gardens:

• Tents
• Fireworks, sparklers, tiki torches, bird releases, butterfly releases, rice and bird seed
• Alcohol - Violation of the open container law
