Services for Seniors

Services are available which assist frail, elderly or disabled persons to live comfortably in familiar surroundings as an alternative to a nursing home. Some of these services are free to qualified persons and others charge a fee.

Provides homemaker services such as personal non-medical care, meal preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, and grooming to frail elderly and persons with disabilities. Case management is also available for individuals with disabilities. This service provides assessment, planning, and linkage to the services needed to assist them in living successfully in the community. Fees are based on income.

Provides services crucial in facilitating independent living for persons in need, including homemaker services, home delivered meals, transportation and home nursing services.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m

Provides heavy household cleaning such as windows, screens, walls, floors, lawn maintenance, etc. for elderly persons. Persons must be 60 years or older and unable to perform services for themselves. This is intended to be one time assistance and is not a regular cleaning service. There is no charge but there is often a waiting list for this service.
