The Pinellas County Consortium Five-Year Consolidated Plan identifies housing and community development needs, priorities, objectives, and strategies.
Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice:
The Consolidated Plan’s certification to affirmatively further fair housing
requires entitlement jurisdictions to undertake an Analysis of Impediments
to Fair Housing Choice as part of its Fair Housing Planning.
SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan:
The SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan identifies the County's strategies for meeting the housing needs of the very low, low and moderate income households; expanding the production and preservation of affordable housing; and furthering the local government comprehensive plans specific to affordable housing.

2001 - Quick Guide to Community Housing

A resource featuring affordable housing and homeownership information in Pinellas County. -
The Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County (HFA) helps families and individuals in Pinellas County purchase their first home. The HFA's mission is to assure that financing for affordable housing remains available to the residents of Pinellas County. The organization was created by the Board of County Commissioners in 1982 and has issued more than $1 Billion in bonds. The HFA has also provided funding for the development of affordable multi-family housing for residents who desire rental opportunities.
