The Pinellas County State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program Annual Reports for State Fiscal Years 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018 are available for public review and comment from August 17, 2018 through August 31, 2018. The reports are available at the Pinellas County Community Development Division, 440 Court Street, 2nd Floor, Clearwater, FL 33756 or by contacting (727) 464-8210 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Written comments on the reports may be submitted to Pinellas County at the address above or directly to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, 227 N. Bronough Street, Suite 5000, Tallahassee, FL 32301. Written public comments shall identify the author by name, address, and interest affected and must be received by August 31, 2018.
The Pinellas County Annual Action Plan summarizes the actions and activities to be undertaken and specific federal and non-federal resources that will be used to address the priority needs and specific goals identified in the Consolidated Plan. The Annual Action Plan serves as the application for funding for the Community Planning and Development formula grant programs (CDBG, ESG, and HOME). A public hearing to receive public comment on the Action Plan will be held before the Board of County Commissioners in June 2018.
Pinellas County is seeking public comments on proposed revisions to the County’s Citizen Participation Plan, which sets forth the County’s policies and procedures for citizen participation in developing the Assessment to Fair Housing (AFH), Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, including any amendments to these plans, and performance reports. Revisions are necessary to incorporate new requirements for the Assessment of Fair Housing.

2017-2018 Pinellas County expects to receive approximately $2,141,376 in SHIP funds and will accept applications under Homeownership and Rental Strategies for housing production, preservation, and other activities included in its Local Housing Assistance Plan between August 21, 2017 and June 30, 2020, or until all available funds are spent.

The application period for mixed-income rental and owner housing development activities will continue on an ongoing basis until funds are depleted.
Pinellas County Housing Trust Fund - (Active)
Pinellas County received $1,818,118 in Pinellas County Community Housing Trust Fund dollars during Fiscal Year 2008-2009. The application period for these funds will continue on an ongoing basis until the funds are depleted.
