Family Service offers The Family Loan Program, an innovative program that
provides small loans to low-income parents who are unable to qualify for
a loan elsewhere. The purpose of the program is to help families striving
for self-sufficiency by providing loans to pay for unexpected expenses that
could interfere with their ability to remain employed or stay in school.
Loans are available for the following purposes: car purchases and repairs,
housing assistance, medical costs, job related tools and uniforms, child
care, energy assistance, and utility deposits. |
