Housing Pinellas

The Board of County Commissioners recently approved a new Housing Trust Fund to provide more affordable housing in Pinellas County. Establishing the trust fund is the first step in the Housing Pinellas initiative. Now, the county can actively pursue financial resources to provide construction financing and rental housing preservation.

Pinellas County Neighborhood Stabilization Program
AMENDMENT TO 2008-2009 ACTION PLAN   (Approved 1/12/08)
The U.S. Housing and Urban Development recently announced funding authorized under Title III of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.  Funding will be provided through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) and will provide emergency assistance to acquire and redevelop foreclosed properties that might otherwise become sources of abandonment and blight within their communities.
